Role Overview
We're hiring an X Account Manager to own the social presence of multiple client accounts simultaneously. You'll balance content strategy, day-to-day posting, community engagement, and performance reporting across a portfolio of brands — each with its own voice, audience, and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow X accounts for 4–8 clients concurrently, each with distinct brand voice and goals
- Plan, write, and schedule content calendars tailored per client
- Monitor accounts daily; respond to mentions, DMs, and community engagement in each client's tone
- Track growth metrics (followers, impressions, engagement rate, link clicks) and report performance weekly/monthly
- Identify trending conversations and craft timely, on-brand content to capitalize on them
- Coordinate with clients on approvals, campaign timing, and strategy pivots
- Flag brand-risk or crisis situations early and escalate appropriately
- Stay current on X platform features, algorithm shifts, and best practices
Requirements
- 2–4 years managing X/Twitter accounts professionally (agency or in-house)
- Proven experience juggling multiple accounts/clients at once
- Strong writing skills; able to adapt tone across different brand voices
- Familiarity with scheduling/analytics tools (e.g., Typefully, Hypefury, TweetDeck, Sprout Social)
- Comfortable with data — can read engagement metrics and translate into action
- Based in Nigeria, reliable internet, available for remote collaboration during core hours
- Self-directed; comfortable owning outcomes with minimal oversight
Nice to Have
- Experience in tech/SaaS/crypto or blockchain-adjacent brand accounts (given Cocor Tech's Stellar/Moistello ecosystem)
- Basic design skills (Canva, Figma) for visual content
- Experience with client reporting/communication
